In this class we will focus on using movement to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is focusing on what's happening as it's happening, which helps relax our minds and helps us connect with what we need in this current moment. We will practice gentle stretches and movements that help open up our bodies and release tension. Using our bodies as an anchor to focus our minds will help us connect with what our bodies and minds need in this present moment, helping with stress relief, helping us navigate uncertainty and cultivate self compassion. Class will start with an introduction to mindfulness, we will have 35 mins of movement and time at the end for questions and reflections. Wear comfortable clothing and have space to move.
